Joining the armed forces?

As a recently retired soldier myself, my only regret about joining the military is that i havent been able to create relationships with my children, i was gone most of their early years as an instructor at airborn school then we had a few good years together while they were in middle school and i was deployed throughout their highschool years i missed both of their graduations i wonder if theyll ever forgive me, my advise to you friend is OCD or not if you ever want to have a family the armed forces arent a good idea.
