This investigation is important to our team for numerous reasons. Firstly, depression is the leading cause of disability as measured by YLDs and the 4th leading contributor to the global burden of disease (DALYs) in 2000. By the year 2020, depression is projected to reach 2nd place of the ranking. Considering the statistics, our team finds it important to analyze the issue in detail, raise awareness and inform people about the potential disaster. Secondly, the team requires to answer the research question “Is depression related to student’s behavior at the university?” using the knowledge obtained from primary and secondary research. Finally, the team needs to provide some useful recommendations that can benefit people in managing depression symptoms if it were to be implemented.
